My hair is pretty boring. It's long, half blonde half brown (I know, that's weird), frizzy, wavy, not layered, no bangs, nothing. I really need some hairstyle ideas!? (without cutting it in anyway, just some different hairstyles). ~thx~

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

I have straight hair (to my waist). I try not to use pony tail holder (even the cloth covered ones). I either wear my hair in one or two french braids with small hair ties on the ends (it takes a little practice, but it is well worth the time). I also found a large clip at the mall called an octupus. I can twist my hair up and clip it without using any hair ties.

P.S. love herbal essance dangerously straight!!

*Straighten

*Scrunch (use a curling gel)

*Curl (curling iron)

*Pigtails (you can straighten or curl the ends,too)

*Braids (one,two,50)

*Side pony tail

*Lower or higher ponytail then normal

*Bun (classic,messy)

*Half up,half down (you can put the "up" part into a small bun too)

Mix and match!:) Good luck with it...

Hint:accesories make any style twice as nice! Add headbands,scrunchies,clips...

If ur hair is like medium long length (a lil'longer below the sholder) and ur hair is all one length, I always do my hair half up half down (and I make sure my hair is sleek and strait before I put it up).

I also put my hair in a high pony and I make the strands hanging out wavy with this Paul Michel gell I use when I get out of the shower.

And you could always get a cute cloth headband (its more comfortable) that wraps around your head with a cute bow or lil'button, and either make ur hair wavy with gel or straight.

I love this too! Its is very elegant if done right! But does take some time. I suggest taking a shower first so your hair is wet, and comb so ur hair is neat in 2 parts. Then you will need to make one clean bun on the back of ur head on one of the sides you parted by pulling it back,(as if making a pigtail) and making sure you get all the hair up in your high bun.Tighten with a rubber band around the bun or fasten bobby pins around it. Repeat on the other side bun. Tip:You could always braid it first then make a bun. and when U braid it bobby pin it son the ends of ur braided hair go upwardlike this:

And lastly I love to make lil'pigtails right below my ears(not the high ones) with my hair dangling down either wavy or braided! I suggest puting a rubber band in it first be4 the braid though.

And always remember-there are a TON of hairstyles out there I havent even all completly mentioned like knoting ur hair, (I suggest this w/ short hair) or a making a lil'bow loop thing right be4 you take out all the hair of your ruber band! But if u want a DRAMATIC change, go to the salon and if u wear it DOWN all the time get layers(dont do this if you like ponies) or short! Talk w/ur hair styler 4 more tips!

Personally, I would not use anything over 1 year old. If it has natural additives I would smell it and if it does not smell like it should throw it OUT. Anything naturally enriched once opened will spoil.

i always have to wear just a plain ponytail because my hair is just so boring! its getting quite long maybe about to my boobs and its not layered or anything and i dont have a fringe or bangs or anythings its just straight up and down and thick. i hate it!

I have the same problem! Try taking some hair from the top and clipping the small piece on top of you head, and push it forward a little bit. Then leave the rest of the hair down. You can always make your hair really curly and bushy, and get a tight headband and put it on. That will make your hair stand out, in a good way. When I'm in a hurry, I'll style my hair with mousse and hairspray, srunching it, and then gather it all and make a huge, loose bun on the top of your head. It's easy, fast, and looks really good. Try making some french braid pigtails.

Getting layers would look nice, or maybe trim your bangs so that their at least shorter than the rest of your hair.

As for a style that's quick and easy, take the front part of your hair (the part that would be considered bangs) and clip it back, letting the rest hang down. How much hair you clip up depends on what you like.
