The big elastics? I think you're talking about headbands. You can get those at Claire's, Rite Aid, Vons, or really any drugstore.

Many beauty supply stores have clip-on extensions for sale, but most only work when your hair is in a ponytail. Your best bet is to get the professionally put in.
