well school is starting soon and i wanted a different look this year than the rugular flat iron..any suggestions?

i get perms and my hair is a little thick

when i get perms my hair is thin but close to the next month the perm wares off so my hair get alot thicker. And * any way i can keep my hair in shape a little longer *

im very young and i know about hair and it happens to me all the time so i either braid my own hair to the back or really tiny or i flip it in the back and style it at the top i work at the hair shop with my auntie and im going to school but i already know how to do hair

Well I stopped relaxing my hair about a month ago, so I am really getting into this new hairstyle thing. For example after I have washed my hair, I braid it and let it dry over night, and wear it crinkly, or I use the flat iron, or I put my hair in braids, and when I am not really feeling like doing much, I throw it in a pony tail

I am a ponytail queen. I have gotten lazy. I have thick hair, but I don't use perms or relaxers. I don't know how long your hair is but getting it wet and braiding it, put a little mousse on it and depending on your texture, it will either be really wavy or crinkled like the psoter said above. My hair is naturally wavy so when I want it straight, I use a big round brush and a hair dryer. Have you thought about micros or twists.
