Hairstyles for thick hair for school..help!?

i have realllly thick hair which i regularaly straighten (this is so its more manageable plus it looks heaps better coz my natural hair is all curly and so fat!)

i always have to wear just a plain ponytail because my hair is just so boring! its getting quite long maybe about to my boobs and its not layered or anything and i dont have a fringe or bangs or anythings its just straight up and down and thick. i hate it!

so does anyone know any know tips for me that doesnt include a boring ponytail?! im not that good at plaits or anything but i guess i could try...or maybe just a good style with a clip and my hair down or something??

I have the same problem! Try taking some hair from the top and clipping the small piece on top of you head, and push it forward a little bit. Then leave the rest of the hair down. You can always make your hair really curly and bushy, and get a tight headband and put it on. That will make your hair stand out, in a good way. When I'm in a hurry, I'll style my hair with mousse and hairspray, srunching it, and then gather it all and make a huge, loose bun on the top of your head. It's easy, fast, and looks really good. Try making some french braid pigtails.

I used to have the same problem. altho my hair is wavy. what I did was first get layers because it makes your hair slightly more manageable and look more interesting. then, leave all of your hair down but part it on the side and pull up one side with a clip. wear your hair like your proud!

You should try getting bangs. You can wear them with a bun or ponytail and they won't make your hair look so boring :)

i used to be the same and then i started putting my hair up in a scruffy bun with a little ribbon round it it was good coz u didint have to keep messin wit your hair all day either! u should try it!

Getting layers would look nice, or maybe trim your bangs so that their at least shorter than the rest of your hair.

As for a style that's quick and easy, take the front part of your hair (the part that would be considered bangs) and clip it back, letting the rest hang down. How much hair you clip up depends on what you like.
