I have reaaally long hair, hairstyle ideas???!!!!!!?

Okay, I have really lond black hair it's a little londer than below my butt. And it's stright at the top, but around the middle it frizzes til the bottom. And vutting it isn't a solution, due to my religion. Can you think of any hairstyles besides a plain braid or bun that I could style it in that wouldn't take a lot of time?Thanks for your help!

Hi. I thought about a procedure called long layering that might help your great sounding hair. It makes me wonder if you had ever put a perm in your hair and now it's grown out. There are great serums that work. Hairapy, pantene, and John Mitchel have great products for hair. When hair gets that long it's almost like a flag whipping in the wind. I think you need to trim the dead ends off and look at french braids. If your Pentecostal Holiness I don't think they mind you trimming dead stuff off. Long layering just helps the condition of your hair. It don't take the over all length off. I don't want to start a fuss with you and your folks. If there is a beauty school in your area the supervisor can tell you what you need to do. If she is scissor happy then say "No thanks" and leave." You might want to try some vitamins. If there was one time that you used chemicals on your hair then that is what is causing the frizz, or it could be. Serums and also hot oil treatments can calm all of that frizz down. They are not expensive. Maybe look at a beauty supply store and get some huge clips, or combs. I think maybe both of those will help you out.

Oh my goodness there are so many nice styles for long hair (the longer the better). Don't listen to people who don't have long hair they say is you can't do anything with it, they don't know God has given you your hair for glory %26amp; power when you pray. Take care of it. That sucks you cant cut it but you can always just do a ponytail which is pretty boring but if you can, get a curlng iron and curl it so it has a bit more volume and will appear shorter. You can also try crimping it which will give it a cool look

clip half of it up n use a very big curling iron 3-4 inch barrle to add some big waves and curls, dang thats all i can think of

well...besides catting a little I don't see any real solution for you...if you that religious, then you need to deal with your frizzy hair and keep braided, not much to do with the long of a hair

if it's past the middle of your back, (this may hurt) but GET IT CUT!!! Because if it's past that point, it doesn't frame your face anymoreand get long layers and have them layer it around your face some so there's attention there.Try highlights all aroung along w/ some by the face. I would list actual styles, but i can't think of any right now.

Make a long braid at the top of your head and coil the braid into a bun.

Make a braid at the nape of your neck, fold it into thirds, and use pretty hair clips to hold it to the back of your head.

Make one braid behind each ear and wrap them into a coronet around your head.

Make two braids and pull them back into a ponytail.

Make a ponytail at the nape, twist it into a figure 8 at the back of your head, and use a large hair clip to hold it.

I have long hair too and I get tired of it just being staight. There are different types of braids than just the basic braid. I love french braids. There's also in braids or fish bone. Try putting just the front of your hair up with pretty clips and leave the back down this looks nice. There's tons of different types of buns or up doos. Also, before you go to bed at night wash and shampoo your hair. Make little braids all over your hair this will give you waves.

Try good moisturizer and hair repair masks... but there is not so much you can do besides trimming ends ...sorry...

by cutting is that having it cut short? what about waist lenght or is that to short? if it's possible maybe a few layers. but if not there are all sorts of braids, if your able there are also hair sticks but i'm unsure if they would have them for your lenght.

Go tho the salon and get it thinned out that should help alot then you really should get it cut atleast to the middle of your back. Yuo need toiy cut out all that damaged hair. Then you just need to put a product i it after you take a shower or something. Bedhead products would probably work the best. Good lluck and what kind of religion doesn't let you cut your hair?!
